The products of the NF line from Star of Italy are synthetic paraffin bases with the addition of special lubricating additives. They are free of “Fluoro” compounds but can still guarantee excellent performance, especially on dry and cold snow. They can be used in all those competitions in which the use of fluorinated products is forbidden. The range of use is wide and allows good gliding even beyond the indicated temperature limit. In addition to the great performance for recreational skiing and racing these are great for conditioning the ski base in preparation for more expensive race waxes are used; in particular whenever liquid high performance waxes are used an initial layer of NF wax ironed in will improve overall performance.

• NF Polar is best in very cold, squeeky snow with temperatures -10° / -20°C
