The Edge Explore 2 will deliver a navigation centric bike computer designed primarily for leisure and recreation. This will be accomplished through the simple to follow navigation features, expanded eBike functionality along with full connectivity to the Varia suite of products and features.

Its primary appeal will be to the existing, loyal GARMIN Edge Explore customer base and the growing number of new cyclists along with those that ride compatible eBike's. They will be motivated by the ease of use, simple set up and safety focused features.

• -New routing mode for compatible eBikes based on eBike battery status assist level and range
  • Expected range ahead of starting the course, create courses on device and get indications if you have sufficient range to complete the course

EBike Functionality

• ANT+ compatible eBikes: (Specialized/ Giant/ Shimano) wireless connection that will communicate to device
• Powered mount compatible eBikes: (Shimano/ Bosch systems) wired connection to the Edge device via the power mount and appropriate cable (sold separately)
  • with this option the Edge takes power from the bike and doesn’t need charging.
