New Backcountry Gear for the '17/'18 Season

Every season brings new technology and tools to help us access the backcountry with added efficiency and comfort. As a dedicated backcountry ski shop it is our goal to help get you in the right gear that fits your needs. Below are some highlights of what we are carrying here in the store. We love talking about skiing so drop by the shop and take a look at what we carry.

Alpine Touring Skis

Black Crows Camox Freebird Ski

With good grip on hardpack, very stable at high speed and playful in powder, the Camox Freebird is an excellent touring set-up for skiers who ski a lot in a wide variety of conditions.

Blizzard Zero G 108

The Zero G 108 offers up the downhill performance that Blizzard is known for in a lightweight, up-hill friendly backcountry touring ski. The Zero G 108 is the result of endless research, design, and testing in all types of conditions and terrain. At 108mm underfoot, it is made for backcountry skiers searching for powder. With an ultra-lightweight construction and torsional rigidity thanks to Carbon DriveTechnology, a natural flex, and stability at speed because of the paulownia woodcore, the Zero G 108 is a no-brainier for the unforgettable days spent touring outside of your resorts boundaries.

DPS Alchemist Wailer 112 (m's) & Yvette 112 (w's)

While the legendary ski shape has remained, the arrival of Alchemist stokes the smoothness factor on this classic. It has the versatility for complete control and g-force generation on hard pack, while cradling the rider into the world of powder planing performance. These skis consistently and playfully delivers ultimate powder versatility and ease of use in varying conditions.

Alpine Touring Boots

Atomic Hawk Ultra XTD 130 & 110

The Hawk Ultra XTD brings you the legendary feel, skiing power and all-mountain capability of Hawx with the epic natural movement of Backland. This 130 top model also brings you a fully Grilamid cuff and a breathable, washable liner with pre-shaped heel and ankle. "The best of alpine. The best of backcountry.

Scarpa Alien RS

Maintaining the same ultralight, race-inspired touring performance as the original Alien with a stiffer, more powerful flex thanks to a carbon-infused Grilamid® shell, the all-new Alien RS still crushes the uphill and is better than ever on the way down.

Bindings

G3 Ion LT12

New for 2015/2016, the ION LT 12 is a brakeless version of the award winning ION binding. If you're looking for the same burly performance without the weight or hassle of a brake, the LT12 is for you.

Marker Kingpin 10

Extraordinary in design, innovative in its technical execution. The highlights include the Sixpack springs for powerful grip of the boot — these toe pieces are unlike anything that's come before (six springs instead of four). An integrated crampon adapter is naturally also part of the standard version.

Packs

Black Diamond Cirque 35

The Cirque 35 is Black Diamond's technical ski mountaineering pack with a mid-sized capacity.

Osprey Kamber 42

Featuring quick and easy access to critical snow safety gear and more than enough room for technical ascents and multi-day hut trips, the Kamber 42 is ideal for both snowboarders and skiers alike.
