Ascent Outdoors Redmond Grand Opening Festivities

Join us for a week festivities every night, September 4-7 as we celebrate the Grand Opening of our new store in Redmond!  From 5pm-8pm each evening we will be focusing on an activity that is near and dear to our hearts. Prizes will be given away every 30 minutes!

Backpacking Night 

September 4th

To kick things off we will be welcoming our industry partners from brands like Osprey, Thermarest, MSR, Outdoor Research, Salomon, Gregory, and Patagonia. They will be onsite providing demos, conducting how-to clinics all while showing off some of the latest and greatest in outdoor technology. 

All day Tuesday backpacking related gear and apparel will be 20% off!

Climbing Night 

September 5th 

The Grand Opening festivities continue! Our climbing night will feature the latest and greatest gear while providing demos and mini how-to clinics from brands like Petzl, Black Diamond, Mammut, La Sportiva and Outdoor Research. 

All day Wednesday climbing related gear and equipment will all be 20% off!

Camp Cooking Night

September 6th 

Don't miss out on our special Camp Cooking night sponsored by local guiding company Backcountry Adventure Guides! Founder and owner, Matt Schonwald, will not only be working up some mean concoctions on a range MSR stoves, but he'll be revealing some of his most coveted backcountry recipes that are sure to make you and your stomach happy for those long days in the mountains. 

Pair these tasty bites with some delicious local brews and ciders. 

And all day Thursday stoves and cookware be 20% off!

Poker Run 

September 7th

Join us for our Second Annual Poker Run at our new location in the Redmond Town Center! 

We encourage all ages and abilities to join this family-friendly, fun run. 

The 5-mile run will begin at Ascent Outdoors Redmond, which is where you'll collect your first playing card. Stop along at 4 other designated checkpoints which is where you will receive 4 additional cards. Make a mad dash back to Ascent Outdoors to find out who has the best hand. 

Try out a pair of shoes, for the run, from Topo Athletic and be sure to fuel up on some Skratch Labs drink mix before heading out on the "trail". 

Each participant will receive a map of the course. 

Prizes will be awarded to participants with the top three hands. 

All attendees will be qualified to win prizes from Topo Athletic, Darn Tough, and Skratch Labs
