Prerequisites: Must have Avy Level 1 training and must be a competent at downhill skiing.

"Bowls & Brews" - Explore a New Zone 

Typically Every Wednesday & Friday : Depending on Weather

You can count on one hand the places on earth that receive as much snow as Mt. Baker & Snoqualmie Pass. And we can show you the goods! We proudly serve Cascade Powder fresh at Mt. Baker and Snoqualmie Pass weekly. So join us for our hump day getaways (Wednesday) or Friday getaways and learn a new zone with experienced guides. As always we will end the day in the only proper way at Dru Bru Brewery.

"Tools and Pints" - Intro to Ice Climbing 

Have you been thinking about something new? Have you ever thought about swinging ice tools. This program introduces you the skills necessary to climb alpine ice like Mt. Baker's North Ridge or Coleman Headwall. We will cover proper application and positioning of ice axes for climbing moderate and steep snow and ice as well as crampon usage and techniques: French, German and American techniques. We will also honor the tradition of quaffing a beer to debrief our day at Dru Bru Brewery. 

Included - Group Gear, Guide, Instruction, and Ice Tools
