Aconcagua represents the highest point in the western and southern hemisphere at an elevation of 22,841ft / 6961m is one of the most attainable of the 7 summits to climb. With a minimum amount of mountaineering experience most physically fit individuals can make a bid for this high altitude summit.

In this presentation attendees can expect to learn the basic components of setting up an expedition to this spectacular mountain. We will discuss physical preparation, travel and logistics, equipment, route options, typical itineraries, mountain resources, permits and acclimatization for this high altitude peak.
