Are you heading to the Alaska Range anytime soon? We've just added a new member to the family of our LaSportiva mountaineering boot collection...featuring the double yet lightweight LaSportiva Spantik.
The Swiss have landed ashore with their sleek, lightweight yet fully functional designed packs & we could not be more stoked!
For long weekend jaunts into the mountains, consider the Mountain Pro 40. It's cylinder shape makes it easy to pack to its maximum potential when you're trying to fit 2-3 days worth of food, sleep system & climbing rack.
The Serac 35L is the ideal pack for overnight missions to high alpine terrain. This pack does not waste weight on a bulky rigid internal frame but finds it's structure throughout the thick, burly 420 denier ripstop nylon firmly laminated to a waterproof liner just in case you get caught in an afternoon thunderstorm or loose your balance while crossing the typical raging creek found on Cascade approaches. While sporting a rope carrying strap the roll top closing system clips far down the sides of the pack, giving you the ability to compress unnecessary volume. The waterproof side zipper gives access to items you may have left in the bottom. A small incision in the ice tool loop securely fastens your trekking poles with the same ease you get with your axe. Stability and weight distribution is found in the hip belt while approaching your objective but is easily removable when the terrain starts becoming vertical.
Typhoon 25 & 15 is built with the same structure & materials as the Serac pack but ditches the rope carrying feature and lightens up the shoulder harness for more breathability. These packs also features a side compartment for carrying a water bottle or small snacks on the go.
