Thru-Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail - A Slideshow with Brad Dutkiewicz

We are thrilled to have through hiker & ultra runner Brad Dutiewicz, along with other through hikers from the area, at Second Ascent June 1st to share his stories, photos & experiences of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.

See the gear they brought, the food they ate and how they sustained themselves for this long & legendary 2,660 mile journey starting at the Mexican Border & ending in Canada.

More about Brad:
Brad Dutkiewicz has been an outdoor enthusiast from day one. Growing up in Southern California as a surfer and running his first marathon when he was 13 inspired his love for endurance athletics. After years of ultralight backpacking and ultrarunning in the mountains of Southern California and Washington Brad completed his through hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2015.

The Pacific Crest Trail Association will be joining us and will be sharing information about their effort and hard work to preserve and protect the Pacific Crest Trail.
