You can never have too many vegetables. Backpackers’ Pantry Vegetable Medley makes a great addition to any of our other meals, or tasty side item on its own. This simple to prepare dish combines Super Sweet Corn, Peas, and Carrots in a tasty lightly seasoned butter sauce. This dish is a low sodium side or snack as well. All you need to do is add one half cup of boiling water directly to the pouch, stir, and let sit for ten minutes. If you would like to add these delicious vegetables to another meal, simply add one half cup more water to the preparation instructions for that meal. These would be a wonderful addition to either of our Mashed Potato flavors. Make it a meal! Whether you are traveling, hiking, backpacking, or out for a sail this is a fantastic option for a snack. Preparation & Storage
Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Add 1/2 cup (120 mL) of boiling water. Stir. Cover and let sit for 13 minutes. Stir and serve. Best By Date on packaging is 10 years from manufacturing date.
