The G3 Splitboard+ Universal is our Editors' Choice winner. It finds the coveted and fine line of grip and glide, giving it incredible versatility. The movement efficiency alone is supported by its top of class features such as the secure and impressive tip and tail connectors. This skin is at home on long traverses and quick missions before work, making it an excellent choice for the majority of splitboarders. They have a pre-cut edge to expedite the time from box to the trailhead, and the connectors offer incredible security but make the skin awkward to roll. That is a trade-off that we were okay with taking. If we were to own and use only one, it would be the Universal due to its versatility and ease of use.
